Equine Facilitated Learning

Equine Facilitated Learning is experiential activities using horses. Ground activities are selected to meet the goals of our clients and no experience with horses is needed. Each exercise is a combination of hands-on exploration, reflection, and guided discussion. How the horses react to each participant’s communication, behavior and body language provides us with feedback we then discuss and identify opportunities for development. Horses are acutely aware of the body-language, emotional states and energy clients present and convey it back through physical movement and behaviors. Participants quickly develop moment to moment conscious awareness of their nonverbal communication and energy, and how it affects, for better or worse, the horses, their environment and relationships.

Equine Facilitated Learning is effective with individuals, small groups, couples, and business groups to improve communication skills, leadership, confidence, intention, decision making, awareness of body, mind, emotions, and mindful presence.
